APWA is proud to introduce the Public Works Fallen Heroes Memorial Campaign
Public works is a critical component of our society and everyday lives. Public works builds and maintains the communities and systems that improve our everyday lives, strives to protect citizens, visitors, and businesses of our communities, is an emergency first responder, and serves as “The Silent Arm of Safety.” To honor those who have fallen, APWA has set up a webpage as a memorial wall to recognize and remember those who lost their lives in the line of duty while working as a public servant in public works. We’re asking that all of you who have been affected by tragedy within your agency (either in the past, or recently), to visit the memorial wall and Submit a Fallen Hero so your colleague can be remembered. Visitors are also encouraged to View/Search Memorials that have already been submitted.
