Florida Chapter Member of the Year Nominations

From Russell Ketchem, Florida Chapter Member of the Year Chairman: It is the time of year that we recognize the efforts and successes of our APWA members.  Many of us have accomplished great things for not only APWA, but the Public Works profession as a whole. I would like each member to look around and forward the name(s) of worthy individuals that you feel have contributed greatly to the profession and to APWA this past year.  Truth be told, I will need more than a name… Give me some information, doesn’t have to be a term paper.  Suggested criteria include: personal character and integrity; public image above reproach; achievements and distinction in Public Works; established reputation for service to APWA and the Public Works Profession; established reputation for civic and public activities; significant contributions for improving Public Works professionalism; evidence of merit which advances the Association’s objectives. Simply put, why you are supporting this individual as APWA Member of the Year. They do need to be APWA members, but other than that, this award is open to all. Please forward your nominations to me by April 15th… yes tax time, I thought it would be easier to remember.  Provide a brief overview… make sure to include specifics… name, title, agency, phone number (if I need to ask more questions). I thank each of you for everything you do for the Association and the Public Works profession. Send responses to my eMail address: Russell.Ketchem@copbfl.com Thanks! Russell Ketchem Chair, Member of the Year Committee APWA Florida Chapter Past President 2014-15
